Kinder Children’s Cancer Center

Made possible by a transformative $150 million lead gift from Kinder Foundation, Kinder Children’s Cancer Center — a joint venture of UT MD Anderson and Texas Children’s — will become the largest and most comprehensive pediatric oncology program in history and bring promise to millions of children and families affected by cancer.

A bold vision for the future of childhood cancer

Each year, 400,000 children and adolescents around the world are diagnosed with cancer. For our youngest and most vulnerable patients, there is a critical need for treatments specifically tailored to their unique medical issues. Through Kinder Children’s Cancer Center, UT MD Anderson and Texas Children’s are joining forces to meet this need with unmatched scale, expertise and compassion. This historic effort unites the nation’s largest pediatric health system with the nation’s top-ranked cancer center — all under one roof and one mission: to end childhood cancer.
